  • Electronics

    WCCSWA has provided environmentally-responsible recycling for end-of-life computers and electronic equipment.

  • Paint

    We recommend using up your paint or drying it out by stirring in kitty litter, shredded paper or sand and leaving the lid off until it has hardened.

  • Household Chemicals

    HHW collection programs divert HHW from the municipal waste stream by sending it to IEPA approved recycling and reuse facilities.

  • Medications and More

    We assist members in providing the proper methods for the disposal of Medication as well as information on other Recycling programs and services.

Formed in 1989, West Cook County Solid Waste Agency (WCCSWA) plans for the responsible management of solid waste in west Cook County, Illinois.

The West Cook County Solid Waste Agency is comprised of 35 towns, 1 township and a zoo within west Cook County.
