Mayors Frank Pasquale and Mayor Ron Serpico Receive the 2017 GreenQuality Achievement Award

WCCSWA Chairman Michael Garvey presented the 2017 GreenQuality Achievement Award to Mayor Frank A. Pasquale from the Village of Bellwood and Mayor Ronald M. Serpico from the Village of Melrose Park.   The presentation was made during the April 26, 2017 WCCSWA Board of Directors Meeting.

The GreenQuality Achievement Award is presented annually to an individual or community who has shown a commitment to promoting environmental improvements and enhancing our regional quality of life.  Both Mayor Pasquale and Mayor Serpico were presented the award this year for their tireless commitment to completing the 25th Avenue Overpass which has brought about regional relief of vehicle congestion and also cleaner air with the elimination of vehicles idling while waiting for freight and passenger trains to pass.
