Mayor Angelo “Skip” Saviano Receives 2018 GreenQuality Achievement Award

WCCSWA Chairman Michael Garvey presented the 2018 GreenQuality Achievement Award to Mayor Angelo “Skip” Saviano from the Village of Elmwood Park.  The presentation was made during the April 25, 2018 WCCSWA Board of Directors Meeting.

The GreenQuality Achievement Award is presented annually to an individual or community who has shown a commitment to promoting environmental improvements and enhancing our regional quality of life.   Mayor Saviano was presented the award this year for his tireless commitment to completion of the Elmwood Park Flood Mitigation Project which has brought flood and sewer backup protection and also substantial environmental benefits.
