The 2019 GreenQuality Achievement Award presented to President Catherine Adduci and the Village of River Forest

Rosemont, IL – WCCSWA Chairman Michael J. Garvey presented the 2019 GreenQuality Achievement Award to Village President Catherine Adduci and the Village of River Forest. Accepting the Award on her behalf was Village Administrator Eric Palm and the River Forest Sustainability Commission. The presentation was made during the April 22, 2019 WCCSWA 30th Anniversary and Earth Day Celebration.

The GreenQuality Achievement Award is presented annually to an individual or community who has shown a commitment to promoting environmental improvements and enhancing our regional quality of life.   President Adduci and the Village of River Forest were presented the award this year for their tireless dedication to recycling in our region with their Annual Recycling Extravaganza Event along with many other Sustainable Programs and Services that are offered to the residents of River Forest.
