Electronics Recycling Opportunity at the MWRD Road Show – October 5
The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) will be hosting their Road Show on Saturday, October 5th at the Science & Arts Academy, 1825 Miner Street in Des Plaines. The event allows residents to meet their MWRD Commissioners, learn how MWRD works towards managing wastewater and stormwater, hear about local projects and how to prevent basement stormwater backups. The 2019 GreenQuality Achievement Award presented to President Catherine Adduci and the Village of River Forest
Rosemont, IL - WCCSWA Chairman Michael J. Garvey presented the 2019 GreenQuality Achievement Award to Village President Catherine Adduci and the Village of River Forest. Accepting the Award on her behalf was Village Administrator Eric Palm and the River Forest Sustainability Commission. The presentation was made during the April 22, 2019 WCCSWA 30th Anniversary and Earth Day Celebration.
